TEC Shows and Events

The TEC is primarily a good old-fashioned club whose main outlet is attendance at classic car shows.

General Show Notes

Ask for a pass in good time, as entries for many shows close one month before the show date, and for some shows there is a limit on the number of cars we can display. If you do book a pass please appear in good time with a clean and tidy car – and do put at least an A4 information sheet about your car in the windscreen.

Scruffy, dirty cars and gaps in our display present a very poor image of our club and are a great disappointment to the show entrant, the organiser and the paying public alike. Most Classic Car Show organisers are reluctant to accept 1990’s cars as classics, although recently a few have been a little more flexible. Check with the relevant TEC contact if you are unsure.

For most shows, there is an entry fee, which you will be expected to pay to the entrant on arrival.

Your efforts will be rewarded by lots of admiring visitors – and they’ll probably like your car as well!

This contains a quality photo gallery of the Toyota Enthusiasts Club 'Nationals' and Annual General Meeting, held at Wicksteed Park, Kettering on a rather showery 14th August 2005. You will also find other interesting pictures, including club cars at the JAE 2005 event.

Many thanks to all those members who attend shows.
