DESCRIPTION:Officially the UK’s fastest growing classic car show and hailed the ‘friendliest of car shows’\, the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show\, with Discovery\, truly is Spring’s best classic car show. Taking place in March\, this year’s show attracted over 28\,000 visitors across 3 days\, and brought together all aspects of classic motoring. Walking through the halls\, visitors were greeted by cars of all marques in various states of repairs; from rusty barn finds\, through to concourse quality with everything in between. \n  \nThis year we have a 6 car stand\, and have been given an exclusive club discount code which will you get cheaper entry on Saturday and Sunday tickets. SUMMARY:Toyota Parallel Pomeroy Trophy
DESCRIPTION:https://blog.toyota.co.uk/is-your-toyota-a-winner-join-us-at-silverstone-to-find-out \n \nThe Pomeroy Trophy is a competition run from Silverstone circuit on Saturday 16th February 2019\, and this year is it’s 64th running. It aims to find the best all round touring car using a formula based on that of Laurence Pomeroy. \nSome of you may remember that last year Toyota entered 2 Yaris GRMNs and a Corona into the event: https://blog.toyota.co.uk/yaris-grmn-pomeroy-trophy \nThis year\, Toyota are running the “Parallel Pomeroy Trophy” alongside the main event\, and are inviting all (road legal) Toyotas to take part. \nThe aim is to find the UKs best overall Toyota. As the event itself always has such a wide variety of cars being that anything road legal can take part\, Toyota are hoping to get a massive spread of models from over the years to participate. We would love for the club to show a good turnout here as it promises to be a great event\, and as mentioned above it doesn’t matter what Toyota you want to take part with – as long as it’s road legal. \nCompetitors will participate in a series of autotest-style challenges\, with a minimum of six tests scheduled on the day. A competition licence isn’t required\, but a road driving licence is needed and passengers are not allowed to be on board during the tests. \nThere is a £30 entry fee\, with all proceeds going to the Guide dogs for the Blind charity. SUMMARY:Cholmondeley Castle - Festival of 1000 Classic Cars
DESCRIPTION:Cholmondeley Castle is without doubt the largest one day classic event in the North West with an unparalleled selection of classic cars and bikes on display and the Castle itself providing a stunning backdrop to the whole event. \nWe now regularly attract over 1\,000 display vehicles\, 50 plus stalls and over 5\,000 visitors through the site during the course of a day. Needless to say we will have an arena\, commentator and expert judges for the concours throughout the day\, not to mention children’s entertainment and quality catering. \nIf you get to just one event this summer make sure it is Cholmondeley Castle on Sunday 2nd September 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

DESCRIPTION:After a successful first national gathering at Hatton World in Warwickshire just off the m42\, we have rebooked it again for this year. The geography suits for many members\, being in the centre of the UK\, and there is plenty of space on the top field which we have secured again for both days – Saturday 11th August and Sunday 12th\, so put the dates in your diaries. \nFor those that have not been previously there are good facilities in the Hatton garden world village with eating places and pubs as well as things for the children to do\, so it can be a family day out. \nWe will be looking to get a large collection on both days and there is plenty of space to accommodate everyone.
