I am needing a Fuel Tank Sender unit for 1988 Toyota Corolla EE90.

I take it you've tried the main Toyota Agent? If you get the part number you might be able to obtain from other sources.

Yes I have tried RRG Toyota Stockport. I gave them the part number Nippon Denso F 12300 but no longer available.
I managed to find a used one on Ebay its a used one of a Toyota Corolla EE90 GL Executive 1.6.
It is from Spain and the delivery is £60 to the UK. The part is £18.

But did they give you the Toyota Part number to fit your car? Or say what other models it fits like a Subaru or Saab

I found the part number on the Fuel Sank Sender unit its engraved on the black base where the 6 fixing screws go.
ND F12300. At the moment I have cleaned and oiled the fuel tank sender and i shall connect it up to the wiring under the back seat, and connect the battery up to the car. And hopefully it should work and I hope the fuel gauge needle moves when i lift the float up.
I bought the Toyota Corolla 1988 EE90 Liftback from a friend. It was lying in his garage for 10 years and a lot of parts mechanical have rusted and worn out.
So i am restoring the Car and doing all the underneath and renewing all the parts etc.
So i am doing it to last me and hopefully never rust. But for me i am doing all the work and doing it to a high standard.

As mentioned, really we'd need your VIN. The Nippon Denso part number won't be too helpful as it isn't the Toyota part number for the full unit.
It looks like the Toyota part number is 83320-80080 with 83320-80074 also being a straight fit. As seems the case since 2020, there don't look to be any stocks in the UK but there are in Japan, or aftermarket items in China/Taiwan etc., all brand new. Example for a copy part would be Pardon our interruption...
Directly from Toyota Japan via Amayama or similar looks more in the £70-80 range. As mentioned in another thread, the fact the parts are still available at all at that age is good going - I've known people with european cars around 10 years old that have been stuck waiting for parts that no longer exist.

Thanks adam_d i appreciate the info.I agree there are people with cars that they cant even get certain parts for their cars.
I am quite fortunate that there are still parts available even if it is in other parts of the world.
